Hey all ! Here I am back with another baking recipe :-)
Guess what !! yummmyyy cheeessyyy veg pizza recipe :-)
I recently baked this pizza for our girls get together and
all my friends loved it :-) Yup we can bake pizza from
scratch at home..very easy..
HOME MADE VEG PIZZA RECIPE:
Recipe cuisine: Indian / Recipe category: Snack
Prep time: 2 hr 30 mins / cook time: 20 mins
FOR THE DOUGH:All purpose flour / Maida : 1 & 1/2 cup
Instant yeast : 1 tsp
Milk : 1/4 cup
Water : 1/4 cup
Oil : 1/8 cup
Salt : 3/4 tsp
Sugar : 1 & 1/2 tsp
FOR THE TOPPING:
Pasta sauce : 2 tblsp
Pizza blend cheese / Mix cheese : 3/4 cup
Onions / Capsicum / Baby corn / Olives (Chopped)
METHOD:
Mix well maida & yeast.
Mix milk & water and microwave it for 30 secs.
Dissolve sugar in the milk -water mixture.
Now add this to the flour with yeast.
Then add oil & lastly add salt.
Now knead & make a smooth dough.
Cover it with a clear wrap & keep it in
a warm place.
After 1 & 1/2 hours, the dough would
have doubled in its size.
Now take the dough in a flat surface & roll it.
Grease pizza pan with oil or butter.
Place the rolled dough on pizza pan.
Keep it in a warm place for half n hour.
The dough will raise again.
Preheat oven to 400 F / 200 deg C.
Now spread pasta sauce gently on the dough.
Then take half of the cheese and spread evenly.
Arrange toppings accordingly.
Now spread the remaining cheese on top.
Bake for 18 - 20 mins or until the pizza crust
turns golden brown. Check around 15 mins as
oven power may vary.

Note:
* I used olive oil. Veg oil or sunflower oil can be used.
* Add salt lastly, and not with yeast as it might deactivate
the yeast.
*I used instant yeast, if active dry yeast pls use 1 tblsp.
Active dry yeast must be activated in warm water with
1 tsp of sugar for 10 mins.
* Toppings can be any veg of your choice.
* It is very important to let the dough raise twice.
* I kept the dough inside oven with lights on so that
it will be warm.
